Air Conditioning

This workshop aims to equip individuals in contexts of mobility, as well as the general population, with the knowledge and skills needed for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems, specifically mini-split units. The ultimate goal is to enable participants to provide service and repair for these systems.
Participants will learn about the electrical, electronic and mechanical operation of these units, identify each component and its function, and understand how to install both the condenser (outdoor unit) and the fan (indoor unit).
Students will also be trained in proper preventive maintenance, including cleaning, checking gas levels, inspecting piping, filters, and electronic components.
Barbershop

This workshop is designed to provide individuals in contexts of mobility, as well as the general population, with the knowledge and skills necessary for the trade of barbery and its related services. The goal is for participants to perform tasks such as haircuts and beard grooming, enabling them to independently generate additional income using what they have learned. Ideally, participants may also secure employment that meets their needs or pursue entrepreneurship.
The workshop employs a practical, skills-based approach that encourages students to learn, analyze, and develop techniques tailored to their individual abilities and goals. Participants will build confidence and dexterity in using barbering tools correctly and will be able to perform haircuts, beard trims, and beard treatments as part of a comprehensive barbery service.
Sewing

In this workshop, students will learn a wide range of skills, from operating domestic sewing machines and understanding their mechanisms, to taking measurements, drawing geometric shapes, drafting patterns, and cutting fabric. They will also work on creating and finishing household linens, with the goal of acquiring the skills needed to start their own sewing business. This home sewing course is specifically designed for women, mothers, and young people who want to learn new skills and pursue entrepreneurship in the sewing field.
Electricity

The domestic electrical installations workshop aims to provide individuals in contexts of mobility, as well as the general population, with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain, install, and design residential electrical systems. The goal is for participants to perform electrical tasks confidently, generate additional income independently from what they’ve learned, or secure employment that meets their needs.
During the workshop, students will carry out hands-on exercises demonstrating the functioning of light switches within a room, as well as the wiring connections for outlets and light bulbs.
Balloon Decoration

This workshop aims to equip individuals in contexts of mobility and local women with artistic and professional skills in event decoration using balloons. The goal is to empower participants to perform event-related decoration tasks, enabling them to generate income either independently or collaboratively to help cover their living expenses.
Additionally, the workshop fosters creative problem-solving skills and encourages social connections among participants, helping them integrate naturally into the community and broader society.
Participants will learn handling techniques and how to create arrangements as instructed by the teacher. They will also gain theoretical knowledge, including balloon calibration, appropriate measurements for different designs, types of structures, and methods to combine various balloon styles to achieve specific decorative effects.
Mechanic

The automobile is composed of various systems, and in this workshop, students will study the components of each system, learning the essentials of both preventive and corrective maintenance.
Participants will identify and understand the functions of different automotive systems, the types of fluids, and the electronic and mechanical components required for a vehicle to operate properly.
Welding

This workshop is designed for both individuals who are currently employed and seeking to improve their job prospects, as well as for those who are unemployed or have no prior experience in welding. Its objective is to equip participants with the skills needed to access employment opportunities in the field.
Throughout the workshop, students will regularly carry out tasks such as preparing materials in the welding area, setting up and dismantling tools, and ensuring the correct use of protective equipment. They will also learn to maintain tools and machinery, and to recognize when supplies need to be replaced or are of poor quality.
For those interested in entrepreneurship, the workshop includes instruction on preparing quotes, calculating material and labor costs, and estimating projected profits.
Acrylic Nails

Today, beauty services such as hairstyling, makeup, facials, and nail care remain in high demand as they meet specific personal and aesthetic needs. Acrylic nail application is one of these services and has allowed many individuals, especially women and mothers, to become self-employed and start their own businesses.
For this reason, the CESFOM chose to include this workshop in its curriculum, with the goal of empowering women in contexts of mobility by teaching them the fundamentals of the trade and encouraging their personal and professional development.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to properly handle acrylic, understand polymerization parameters, and identify the morphology of the natural nail. The course covers the basics and principles of proper sealing, as well as five popular salon nail shapes. Additionally, students will learn how to prepare the nail for acrylic application, along with filing and sealing techniques, and general nail care.
