In compliance with Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (hereinafter, “the Law”), especially with the provisions of its Articles 8, 15, 16, 33, and other applicable, Centro Scalabrini de Formación para Migrantes (CESFOM), legally represented by Casa del Migrante en Tijuana A.C., is responsible for the processing of your Personal Data. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

The Personal Data we gather is for the purpose of generating statistics and analysis that allow us to improve our programs and services, and to submit reports to funders. Identity information such as names and contact information, is kept anonymous, and it is for CESFOM’s internal use only.

Data Retention Timeframe

The processing of your Personal Data will be for an undetermined period of time from the date you are registered in our registration form. However, You can exercise your right of object at any moment in order to request the restriction and deletion of your data, by following the protocols mentioned hereinbelow.

Storage and Protection

The Personal Data provided will be safeguarded in a digital system both in the cloud and physically. Access to it will be restricted only to CESFOM staff and those authorized by CESFOM. Said data will be processed according to the principles of Legality, Consent, Information, Quality, Purpose, Loyalty, Proportionality and Accountability in compliance with the Law.

Exercise of ARCO Rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection)

You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object the processing of your Personal Data by submitting a request to the institution. CESFOM will have a time frame of one month, thirty days, minimum starting on the day of the reception of your request to issue a resolution or request additional information. If the request is approved and You prove your identity, the requested action will be executed within a period of fifteen days maximum. You will be kept informed of the process at all times if you so request.
The reply and access to your Data, as well as the supporting documents, will be handed over upon proof of identity and/or legal personality, through certified copies, electronic documents or simple copies. In the case of electronic requests, preference will be given to this means for the handover of replies and resolutions.

Usage of Data by Third Parties

The information shared with third parties will be for statistical and evidentiary purposes, and will not include personally identifiable data. Personal information, such as names and means of contact, will remain anonymous and for the exclusive use of CESFOM. However, according to the agreements established with third parties, there is a possibility that pictures and videos may be shared as part of the evidence.
